American actress and singer Emma Rose Roberts is officially engaged to Cody John. Known for her roles in American Horror Story and Scream Queens, Emma Rose shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of the couple that featured her engagement ring.
In the caption, she humorously wrote, “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” referencing a joke about her mother, Kelly Cunningham, who had previously posted a photo of Emma’s 3-year-old son on Instagram before Emma could announce the engagement herself.
Kelly Cunningham later reshared Emma’s post with a simple “congratulations.”
The engagement news received warm wishes from several celebrities. Emma’s co-star, Lea Michele, commented, “Already planning the bachelorette!!!! So happy for you babe!!!” while Aly Michalka wrote, “Hahahaha oh man do I relate to this. Congrats Em!!!”
This will be the first marriage for both Emma and Cody. Emma Roberts has a son with her ex-boyfriend, Garret Hedlund.
